Who I am

My name is Misha and all of the articles you see on this website are my original content that is a mix of Python programming along with data science and machine learning.

My education is primarily in financial economics and applied econometrics. However, my career took a path in data science because of my passion for numbers, programming, and desire to create state of art solutions that solve specific business tasks and help the company scale.

I currently work as a senior data scientist with research focused in pricing and markdown optimization. If you want to learn more about what I do and about my experience, here is my LinkedIn profile.

Why I write

I started writing tutorials (blogging) about my data science journey with the intention to simply share my learning path and my knowledge with the Python community as well as anyone who is interested in exploring this field.

Knowing that there are readers who constantly visit my site is a big encouragement to keep writing and has served as a large benefit for my self development. I constantly explore new things and write about them keeping in mind that Pythoneers and Pythonistas always search for interesting tutorials.

In addition, writing the blog has enabled me to connect with like minded enthusiasts in the field and cross share our works/solutions with each other and get a lot of help with blog writing, SEO ranking, and much more.
